Is it possible to set a property value to a javascript expression?
rockytriton

On my <row> I have a property:

<property name="pageBreakBefore">always</property>

The problem is I only want it to do this after the first row. I have tried putting javascript in place of "always" to check if row.__rownum == 0, but no matter what I do for that it always ends up using the "avoid" functionality.

So is there a way to dynamically set this property?

You can set the page break dynamically in the onCreate() of the detail row in your table doing something like this.

if(row.__rownum > 0) { this.getStyle().pageBreakAfter = "always";}

But this will give you two rows per page.
