Unexpected behaviour DataSet execution

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>In my design, I have a table which is inside a List item. The table is bound to a dataset which calls a stored procedure. I have a insert query in the stored procedure to check the number of calls made to the procedure i.e. number of times dataset is executed.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Below are the scenarios and their result which is not as expected:</strong></p><p> </p><p>[color=#ff0000;]<strong>Scenario 1:</strong>[/color]</p><p>- Single table bound to dataset.</p><p>- Table placed inside a grid.</p><p>- Grid placed inside a List. List iterates for 3 times.</p><p>[color=#ff0000;]<strong>Actual Result:</strong>[/color]</p><p>Procedure is called 6 times</p><p>[color=rgb(255,0,0);]<strong>Expected Result:</strong>[/color]</p><p>Procedure should be called 3 times</p><div> </div><p>[color=rgb(255,0,0);]<strong>Scenario 2:</strong>[/color]</p><p>- Two tables bound to dataset separately.</p><p>- Tables placed inside a grid row into 2 columns.</p><p>- Grid placed inside a List. List iterates for 3 times.</p><p>[color=#ff0000;]<strong>Actual </strong>[/color][color=rgb(255,0,0);]<strong>Result:</strong>[/color]</p><p>Procedure is called 2 times</p><p>[color=rgb(255,0,0);]<strong>Expected Result:</strong>[/color]</p><p>Procedure should be called 6 times</p><div> </div><p>[color=rgb(255,0,0);]<strong>Scenario 3:</strong>[/color]</p><p>- Two tables. First table bound to dataset and second table bound to first table using [color=#800000;]<em>Binding --> ReportItem --> <Name assigned to first table></em>[/color]</p><p>- Tables placed inside a grid row into 2 columns.</p><p>- Grid placed inside a List.
