Hello!I'm new in BIRT. I can understand is it possible to solve my problem with BIRT, or I need search another framework/engine. I have a table in database(data from this table uses as data set):CREATE TABLE ITEMS 
( 
"ID" NUMBER(18,0), 
"TYPE" VARCHAR2(255 BYTE), 
"DESCRIPTION" VARCHAR2(255 BYTE), 
"CREATED" DATE, 
"CLOSED" DATE 
) I need build report like this(start and end of period passed as parameter): <img src='http://rw0.ru/scr/i/8807a47376ab3fdfbc8981be4794.png' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /> In other words, i need count of items in each cell.

Type and dates are the dimensions. Count of ID should be the measure

I have TWO dates field and i need not pure date, but week(or month)Type - it's ok, but if you look in picture, you can see what for each type i need count of items created and closed in column period. This two moments confuses me.

OK, I looked at the output again and understand the problem. Let me try to build a sample. I hope to have it by end of this week or early next week.

Basically what you need to do is build a dimension table for the dates. Then do 2 left outer joins once to the created date and the second to to the closed date. Then you should be able to build your cross-tab. Attached is a simple example using Classic Models.
