How to open BIRT Report in new Window on browser

<p>Hi All,</p><p> </p><p>I have new requirement in my Web application. where i am calling rptdesign from jsp page by using <viewer> tag. and report will be render on same body part of application. <p>Couldn't you just build a URL to call it directly from the viewer, instead of using the tag library? This would allow you to open the report in a new window.</p>

<p>Sure. If you need me to. You would simply be using html or javascript to pop up a new window and pass it the URL of your report.</p><p> </p><p>With just html it would be like:</p><p> </p><p><a href="yourserverinfo/birt/run?__report=myReport.rptdesign" target="__blank">View Report</a></p>
