ClearQuest 8 - Query Parameters

<p>I am sooo confused. Here is what I have. I have created a query in Clearquest that has a Dynamic Filter with a prompt of "RFC". I run it and I am prompted for the ID I put in <span style="font-size:12px;">BETTS00000004  and I get back the correct record.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Next I go into BIRT. Create the datasource from the ClearQuest Query Data Source. - Everything works great</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Then I create a DataSet, I go to Query and select my ClearQuest Query named NewOne.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">THe Output columns are populated,</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">dbid    interger  </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">id   string</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Notes_log string</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I created a report parameter named RP_Foo</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I go into parameters and it has two defined. id_Operator and id_Parameter.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I tried to link the Id_Parameter to the report parameter. - Get an error</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I tried to link the id_Operator to the report parmeter - get an error</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I tried deleteing both but they keep reappearing.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I tried to create a nother parameter and then link that one to the report parameter - Error also.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">I am not suer how to make this work.  Please help</span></p><p> </p><p> </p>

<p>Has anyone used BIRT for parameterized reports using a ClearQuest query? If so please explain.. It appears that it does not work.</p>
