Split text in two dynamic text boxes
janus

Hello,
is their a way to split text into two dynamic textboxes. The first textbox has a fixed size and should appear on the first page and the text that does not fit into these box should be placed into a second textbox on the next page. It seems, that I can't use only one textbox: I tried already to display the header of the master page only on the first page and to hide the header on following pages with:

if (pageNumber > 1){ this.getStyle().display = "none";}

in the onRender method of the respective grid in the header. But the grid is visible on the second page as well.
Thanks for your advice.

Where does this text come from? In the onCreate() of your report you could split the label into an ArrayList() and use one label like this

array = reportContext.getPersistentGlobalVariable("myarray");if(pageNumber > array.size()) { // Do nothing}else{ this.text = array.get(pageNumber);}
