Performance with Teamsite 5.5.2 GUI and proxy

We have a Teamsite 5.5.2 environment that we're testing. Previously we have been using Teamsite 4.5.1 in the same environment. There has been a significant performance issue with the Teamsite 5.5.2 GUI, particularly when opening DCRs for editing.

We have traced the problem to when IE is accessing the net via a proxy (not iwproxy). If the proxy is enabled, TS slows to a crawl. Without it, the GUI screams. The problem is that our remote authors have no choice but to access the server via a GUI.

The problem occurs whether the proxy is running squid or IIS.

Is anyone using TS in a proxy environment? TS 4.5.1 in exactly the same setup has no such issues.
