Hi,

I have perl scripts to populate dropdowns. I am using oracle9.2.0

when i am trying to connect to oracle database using the below it is not working
$ENV{ORACLE_HOME} = '/oracle/9.2.0';

If i used below oracle home it is working

$ENV{ORACLE_HOME}='/oracle/proddb/8.1.6'

I am wondering why oracle 9.2.0 client is not able to connect to 9.2.0 database . But it is connecting through 8.1.6 home
