I don't know if you can do it out of the box or not. Are you trying to speed up your application? There might be other ways to do this too. Can you describe what your doing.

i want to read the data page by page.i mean when i want to see 2nd page data then only it will load from database. i also tried page breaking concept it doesn't suites my requirement.

You might want to take a look at this <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://digiassn.blogspot.com/2007/10/birt-progressive-viewing-during-render.html'>blog post</a>. It shows how you can setup progressive viewing, rendering just the page that is being viewed. Let me know if this is what you're trying to do.
