Internationalization in BIRT...issue with Korean characters

<p>Hey ...i m using properties files to localize my strings.I have to do i18n for korean...But my korean characters are not visible but ANSI format are seen....How shall I achieve i18n.I have my own servlet to render report..Do I have to add any thing so that properties can be encoded in UTF-8...Plz help</p>
