problem adding generated file to workflow

Hi,

I've a workflow with a usertask for users to attach files.
When the file is generated for the first time, the user can attach the generated file, submit the file for approval, etc.

However, when the file is updated and generated next time, the user cannot attach the generated file.

The /var/adm/iwui/servletd.log gives the message "OpenAPI method "IWTask::addSubjectCollection" failed due to sciface call "TWFClientTask::AddFile" failure with error code: 2400".

More details:
- workarea and the workflow is owned by admin A,
- file is generated by user B,
- the usertask in the workflow is also owned by user B,
- the lock "Locked by launching the Page generator" is also owned by user B.
- both A and B belong to the same unix group

Any ideas?

Just a guess: Try having B unlock the file first, then try adding it to the workflow.

Of course, I can fall back to that in the end.

But imagine -

1) if you are the one who generate the file, how is it that you cannot attach it to the workflow? you own the file, you own the lock, you "own" the workflow task ...

2) I also noticed that when the file is regen, this does not happen - the icon for the file appears as "modified" rather than "locked by Page Generator".

btw, I'm on TeamSite 5.5.1 and yes, I have installed whatever patches I can find on the support website. Anybody encountered this in TS5.5.2?
