Acknowledgement issue from DD

Hi,

Generally, I saw DataDeploy can be done either with DAS mode and without. But I am not sure how I can get the acknowledgement from DD once the deploy sucessful. Looking the log file for me is not the good choice. It will be better to have some functions/features/interfaces, so I can easily know if the DD works ok and DD to database not fail.

In DAS mode the only way to check if the deployment was successfull is to check the logfile. or use reports if you are using DD5.6
If you are running in standalone mode you can check the retcode of iwdd.ipl or specify the command line argument need-result=yes
iwdd.ipl ..... need-result=yes
