<p>Take a look at this example. I had to hide your second parameter and display the values in an HTML list box. Instead of using the taglib's run report button you'll need to pass the values to your report via the URL in runReport()</p><pre class="_prettyXprint _lang-"><%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1"%><%@ taglib uri="/birt.tld" prefix="birt"%><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"><html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"><script> window.onload = function() { document.getElementById('2').style.visibility="hidden"; document.getElementById('3').style.visibility="hidden"; if(window.addEventListener) { document.getElementById('2').addEventListener('resize', getOrders, false); }else if(window.attachEvent) { document.getElementById('2').attachEvent("onresize", getOrders); } if(window.addEventListener) { document.getElementById('1').addEventListener('change', fire, false); }else if(window.attachEvent) { document.getElementById('1').attachEvent("afterchange", fire); } if(window.addEventListener) { document.getElementById('run').addEventListener('click', runReport, false); }else if(window.attachEvent) { runReport(); } function runReport() { alert("run report, see comments in runReport()"); // Get values of the parameters here and use window.location // to send the user to the report, make sure to pass your parameter // values in the URL. } function fire() { getOrders(); } function clearListBox(lb) { for(var i=lb.options.length-1; i>=0; i--) { lb.options[i] = null; } } function getOrders() { var orders = document.getElementById('2'); var multiselect = document.getElementById('multiselect'); clearListBox(multiselect); for(var i=0; i<orders.options.length; i++) { var currentValue = orders.options[i].value; multiselect.insert(new Element('option', {value: currentValue}).update(currentValue)); } } }</script></head><body><birt:parameterPageid="report1" name="page1"reportDesign="multiparam.rptdesign"isCustom="true"pattern="frameset"><birt:paramDef id="1" name="customers"/><birt:paramDef id="2" name="orders" /><input type="Submit" value="Run Report" id="3"></birt:parameterPage><select multiple id="multiselect" style="width: 300px"></select><p><input type="submit" value="Run Report" id="run"></body></html></pre>
