iterate data set and display required values in grid

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>   i am having a dataset values ("parametername","parametervalue").</p><p> </p><p>now i need to loop dataset and place the correct value in the grid like if(parametername == "xxxx")then display corresponding parametervalue.</p><p> </p><p>how to loop data set and fetching the required values to corresponding columns</p><p> </p><p>i have found one solution that in each grid i have taken "LIST COMPONENT" and in the details of that i am writing visibility condition that</p><p> </p><p>if(dataSetRow["parametername"]=="xxxx"){</p><p> false</p><p>}</p><p> else true</p><p> </p><p>it is working fine in the preview but when i view it as pdf, it is showing whitespaces for which columns are hidden.</p><p> </p><p>i am still working on this since two days onwards.please help me out.</p>

<p>Do you have to use a grid?  If you use a table then you can filter out all data you don't want by selecting the table > property editor > filters > add.  Then from here you can use your parameter to filter out data you don't want in your table.</p>
