Does Actuate 8 work on windows 7?

<p>Hello All,</p><p> we are in process of upgrading out OS from windows XP to windows 7,</p><p> </p><p>Currently I am working on Actuate 8</p><p> </p><p>I tried to install actaute 8 on windows 7 I had seen run time errors,</p><p> </p><p>So would like to confirm does actuate 8 work on windows 7?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Thanks</p><p>Chandra</p>

Nope. But if you are on Actuate maintenance, you can consider upgrade to the latest release which supports windows7.

<p>Apart from OS , we are upgrading Maximo 6 to maximo 7.5 as well,So we will be using BIRT</p><p> </p><p>So we wil not move to Actuate further version</p><p> </p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>First to answer your question Windows 7 cam out after Actuate 8 was retired so it could not have been supported. As an additional note are you aware that you can run your current Actuate reports on Maximo 7.5 using Maximo ERI and a current version of iServer? You might save cost in upgrading all the reports.</p>
