moving java based templates to web based template?
avdhut
We are using Java Callouts in our templates. I want to know how can we continue using java callouts even with web based templates as the support for java based templates is going away. We do have lots of templates and big impact if we have to move to some other technology.
If at all we can not have the Java callouts in web based templates then what is other way to work with? How can we have the forms which are database driven?
Thanks.

You can always use CGI callouts and FormAPI to interact with databases.

I didnt realise that java call outs were being phased out aswell.
I thought i was just the java templating interface...
is this correct?

Using CGI callouts is fine. Is there any chance of using servlets/JSP instead with TS552 ?
Will CGI be supported in future releases of Teamsite? Can somebody please throw more light on this?
