Error handling when using JSAPI
jcohen

I'm trying to wrap up some functionality and one of the last things to do is error handling.

I found some old posts that show registering an error handler on the viewer and parameter objects, but the methods don't exist in the JSAPI docs any longer.

It seems that all errors, parameter or viewer, end up popping up in a little modal window on the viewer. That goes for parameter validation (required fields, bad input) as well as stacktraces from the backend That would be great, but it seems that the popup is a fixed size, so we can't see or capture the entire error.

Is there any way to intercept those errors so we can show them in a larger window, or capture them to a log?

Alternatively, is there any way to make that little error dialog bigger/dynamic so it displays the entire error?
