BMXAA5457E during import and consequences

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>I'm new here so first of all I'd like to welcome all BIRT developers here:)</p><p> </p><p>As in the topic my problem occurs during importing my report to maximo- I got "BMXAA5457E - The report import process failed. Verify the specified information is correct before proceeding again." error. According to ibm support site (<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21647544'>http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21647544</a>) that happens because maximo versions 7.1.1.5 and later supports only [color=rgb(51,51,51);font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;]2.3.2 BIRT version. That seems right, because my BIRT version is 3.7.1 and maximo's 7.2. And here's my question- is it a simple way to "downgrade" my reports from 3.7.1 to 2.3.2 or I have to install 2.3.2 and do all my reports from scratch?[/color]</p><p> </p><p>[color=rgb(51,51,51);font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;]Thanks for answers in advance.[/color]</p>

<p>What version of Maximo are you running? Short of re-developing your report your only choice is to edit (using the XML Source tab or a text editor) and change the version of the the report in the header of the XML file. This MIGHT work depending on the report (if you are not using any features of BIRT that were added between 2.3.2 and 3.7.1).</p><p>To know what to change it to you need to get BIRT 2.3.2 and create a new report and look at the XML.</p>
