Hi can i attach different workflows for create and edit.?
When a user creates a new dcr and then saves it i want a work flow to be triggered which is different from when the user clicks on edit .. the same work flow.

Not out of the box.

Best bet would be to have a overall workflow that is called & first task would be to see if this is a new object or an existing object (very easy, see if it exists in STAGING, if there is a version number, etc) then spawn one child workflow or another.

Probably easier than using a trigger.

Alternatively - if the workflow process are similar - do what the nipper suggest, but do it within the <template_script> section of the wft and use that to determine which task you start with and potentially which tasks are active in the workflow -- requires a bit more perl in the wft, but if the flows are very similar it can work very nicely.
