Web CMS (TeamSite)
can't login as domain user
Grundy
Hello all,
We're using TeamSite 5.5.2 sp2b on Windows 2000. TeamSite will not let us log on with domain user accounts. Local users work fine. And we know the domain accounts/passwords are valid because we can log into Windows itself with the domain accounts. Not sure whether this is an Active Directory issue, TeamSite issue, or both.
Any thoughts on what might be the problem?
Thanks,
Nutt

Did you put the users (domain\user) into the correct role files and issue a iwreset after doing so?
Grundy
Yep, they are in the roles files. I have verified the role-file entries with iwckrole as well. Should've indicated that in my initial post

... and you issued an iwreset from the command prompt?
Grundy
Sure did. We've rebooted the server a few times as well.

I am not familar with MS AD, but we use domain accounts, and it works fine. Is the TS box on your network or is hosted and/or outside your firewall. Do you need a trust between the box and the domain controller?
are you able to look up domain users in the TS admin config? You should be able to enter domain\userid (TeamSite Admin -> Config -> Access -> edit roles). If you are having authentication problens, the users won't be found.
