run birt report from spring get portrait instead of landscape?

hello, i'm newer to birt and spring. i have reports setup as landscape. when run from birt viewer, they are showed as landscape as expected. but when run from spring, i got portrait. what i should do please, which part i missed? also, i have Page <VALUE-OF>pageNumber</VALUE-OF> of <VALUE-OF>totalPage</VALUE-OF> to display in the footer, work from birtviewer but from spring, the totalPage always the current pageNumber, like page 4 of 4, page 5 of 5 even i have 5 pages in total. thanks in advancesophie birt version is 4.3 and eclipse kepler, spring 3
