Date report parameter

<p>hello,</p><p> </p><p>i'm designing a birt report wich i implemented a Date parameter.</p><p> </p><p>I would like to give to users the possibility to choice on</p><p>- the current date (where this parameter point on the day date and the report will refresh automatcly every day)</p><p>or</p><p>- selected date ( where user select a specific date on calendar)</p><p> </p><p>Do you now can i design this in birt ?</p><p> </p><p>Thanks</p><p> </p><p>Antoine</p>

<p>Hi Antoine,</p><p> </p><p>I don't understand exactly what you want to do (you can contact me by mail in french if needed), but if you create a parameter in date format, you will automaticaly get a calendar to choose the date you want.</p><p> </p><p>If you want to specify a default date, on default value, choose "JavaScript Syntax" and just write <strong>new Date().</strong></p><p>this will give you the current date as default value</p>
