iHub3 evaluation failed to install

<p>Hello,</p><p> </p><p>Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes. I am trying to install the BIRTIHubEvaluation for release 3 on Windows 7 Pro. Half way through the installation 2 messages appear indicating that the IHub window service and Postgres window service could not be started and must be started manually. After hitting ok, the installer executable crashes without completing the install.</p><p> </p><p>I tried re-installing multiple times; same results.</p><p> </p><p>Any help would be appreciated.</p><p> </p><p>Rodney.</p>

<p>Rodney,</p><p> </p><p>Are you currently working with a representative from the Actuate sales department? If so, that would be a good way to go about getting support for this instance.</p><p> </p><p>If not, can you provide more information on what occurred?</p><p>Do you see any errors in the Event Viewer logs?</p><p>What user did you try to run the installation as, and are they an Administrator?</p><p>Did you run the installer as Administrator?</p><p> </p><p>There should also be some logs that get generated by the install even if it fails. Do you see anything in those logs?</p><p>Lastly, can you check on the acserverlicense.xml file in the config directory to verify the expiration date of the same?</p>
