crosstab sorting columns

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>I am trying to sort the columns in the crosstab based on two keys but not yet successful</p><p> </p><p>The report has two date parameters (start & end).</p><p>The Month names has to be sorted in the order the dates are entered.</p><p> </p><p>For e.g., if the dates are 01-Jan-2012' to '31-Dec-2013' then the order must be Jan,Feb,...Dec.</p><p>if the datee are 01-Jul-2012 to 30-Jun-2013 then the order must be Jul,Aug...Jun.</p><p> </p><p>Any suggestions please.</p><p> </p><p>Thank you.</p>

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>if I understand well what you're trying to do : </p><p>you've a query and the result of this query is filtered with the start and end date ?</p><p> </p><p>If you want to create a crosstab with the month ordered by date, you can do this.</p><p>1) Create your dataset with your date filed... and everything you need to</p><p>2) Create a cube with a time dimension on your date, with level year and month</p><p>3) Change the format of month to MMMM</p><p>4) Create a Crosstab with year and month in column (or in line...as you want)</p><p>5) delete the content <strong>ONLY </strong>of the year column and set the with to 0</p><p> </p><p>Here is an example based on classic Model DB</p><p> </p>
