Ad-Hoc Requirement with BIRT

<p>I have a reporting application that which involves certain On-Demand Reports and Ad-Hoc Reporting Capability. </p><p> </p><p>As of now we are using SAP Business Objects. I would like to know if we can have Ad-Hoc reporting with BIRT. If Yes what are the additional tools that i would need to do so? Are these Open Source or whether it is licensed?</p><p> </p><p>I come across IServer and iHub very frequently when i read about this? are these mandatory for Ad-Hoc reporting. </p><p> </p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Vinod</p>
