Urgent: How can I sum 2 field values from 2 different data sets?
rdilshad

I need to sum 2 field values (integer) which are in two separate data sets.

For that, if i create a joint data set & use the full join, then value comes in 2 different rows (in preview), for that i can get only the left data sets values in the table (if i bind the table with the joint data set) & get the sum (if i use the aggregate function), but the right data sets value doesn't show in the table.

What can i do to solve this issue? Please help, it is urgent.

You can use either report variables or global variables. If you can you provide more detail on what values you are trying to sum, we can try to provide a complete answer. The more detail the better. Also what version of BIRT are you using.
