You can't (at least not easily). Is there a reason why the master and sub-reports are not using the same data set? That way all the bindings can be done in a single data set. If it is not possible have a data set that is just the aggregation and use a joined data set to join to the master report data set, then you can sot on the aggregation.

The main reason is that SQL query is very complex and JDBC driver gives me errors like "Request Too Large". Another reason Subjob1 and Subjob2 has completely different(in rows count and data context) datasets. So my solution is to split SQL query for Subjob1 and Subjob2.

Any suggestions on "not easily" way? I am comfortable with programming and other stuf

As far as other ways go I have not put a lot of thought to it, but bottom line is that the master data set needs to have the aggregation bound to it in order to sort. So you can have an additional query put the rows in a hash map then then when the data set is being used you can use the hash map to create an additional binding.
