Need to log a bug. The bug is that the PDF converter is interpreting the space after the colon, and processing in the next line. Workaround: Use Javascript to replace string and remove space. myField.replace(': ',':</strong');

Thanks bclark for the update. It seems White space issue comes if we have space before tag as well. Do you have any idea for how many html tags similar white space issue is present.Because if we are using Rich Text Editor multiple combinations of tags will come and we will not be able to come up with generic Javascript which will address this bug. Issue Description: White space before line coming in BIRT Report PDF where as not visible on Rich Text Editor. Sample HTML Data: 21/05/12 - $10,755 07/23/12 - $58,434 06/04/12 - $116,755 02/03/12 - $276,250 Attached document "White Space Issue for br tag.docx" has more details about the new white space issue and screenshot are also added for reference.
