Birt report for maximo75
oraBirt

HI, All,

Thanks for your help in advance!

I am new to Birt, and using birt.report.viewer_3.7.1

1. How to display a bit value field as yes/no, instead of 1/0?

2. Currently I am using windows 7, 64 bit computer, with oracle 11g 32 bit client installed. It works fine, but we are moving the environment to a 2008 windows server, 64 bit with oracle 11g 32 bit client installed too. After jre folder from oracle client home was copied to eclipse folder, an error showed up when the dataset is clicked to be edited: "Bad version number in .class file".

Again, thanks!!

In the future please separate your questions in different posts so search can find them easier. Now to your questions.

1. Use the Map feature. Add conditions for 1 to display Yes and - to display No. (see screenshot below).

2. Why are you using 32 bit client on a 64 bit machine. My guess is that you have not set up the Maximo scripted data source correctly on the new machine.

P.S. There is a Maximo specific forum also.

Click on the data item, then you should see 4 tabs on the bottom (Properties, Binding, Map, Highlights)

2. Which proves my point the the new environment might not be setup correctly.

P.S. You are aware that Oracle does not support 9i anymore, right?
