[color=rgb(40,40,40);font-family:'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif;]I uploaded the mysql-connector-java-1.5.30-bin.jar to work with the database.[/color]<br />

[color=rgb(40,40,40);font-family:'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif;]The problem is when I create a new report and I want to upload to the server. However, if the change from the old BIRT report, the report viewer starts but is empty.[/color]<br />

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>It is not clear in your post where you uploaded the mySQL jar file. For your report to work with the BIRT Viewer Toolit, the mySQL jar file must be in the following directory:</p><p> </p><p>BIRTViewerToolkitWEB-INFplatformpluginsorg.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_4.2.3.v20131018-0430drivers</p><p> </p><p>The 17070 error message is quite generic and will be displayed when a runtime error occurs.</p><p> </p><p>Hope this helps,</p><p> </p><p>P.</p>

<p>As I understand it, BIRT Viewer Toolkit is only for open source BIRT and uses the open source engines. Designs made with BIRT Designer Professional will not work on it. This is likely the problem.</p>

<p>The iHub is closed source. The download on the site is currently a 45 day trial version. A non-trial version will need to be purchased. It will run open source or commercial BIRT designs.</p><p> </p><p>The BIRT Viewer Toolkit is also closed source, but is a free download. It runs open source BIRT designs only. It includes the commercial grade Actuate BIRT Viewer and the JavaScript API for easy integration into your application.</p><p> </p><p>The BIRT Runtime includes a Sample Viewer application called the WebViewerExample. It is open source and runs open source BIRT designs only.</p><p> </p><p>Above you said you were using BDPro, which is just a trial until you purchase a license for it. So, your only option, currently is to use the iHub.</p>

<p>The BIRT Viewer Toolkit will error if there are any components in your report that are BDPro specific. BDPro and Interactive Viewer would definitely work together. Have you downloaded and installed the iHub trial so you can test it out?</p>
