Height Not working for List Report Item

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>I've inserted the list and mapped one dataset to it. Then in advanced properties section i'm setting the height of that list element.</p><p> </p><p>But when i generate the report in doc format whatever height i had set is not getting reflected.</p><p> </p><p>Whereas for PDF format its behaving differently.</p><p> </p><p>I need to set the height of the list element so that in each and every page irrespecive of the amount of data the border lines should be extended to some specific height which i set.</p><p> </p><p>I'm attaching the xml file and rpt design file along with image which shows which property i used to set the height</p>

<p>Setting the height of the list will not work. Put the list in a 1x1 grid. Set the height to the grid.</p>

<p>Hi mblock,</p><p> </p><p>Thanks for the reply. Actually i had tried this. problem is only data that can be fit into 1st page gets displayed, whereas rest gets ingnored.</p><p>I'm attaching the template and generated report.</p><p> </p><p>Is there any other way ?</p><p> </p><p>Thank You,</p>

<p>Have you tried putting the borders on the master page? Also is there a reason why you are not using a table? In any case you can add a group on the row count with an interval of the number of rows that fit.</p>

<p>Hi mblock,</p><p> </p><p>Yes adding the border in masterpage will work. But i've a requirement to add header and footer contents which will be contained outside the border lines.</p>
