Overlapping Y Axis Series Label

Hi All, 3.7.2. Problem with overlapping y axis series labels when I use 2 Ys. Is this a bug and does anyone know what the best solution would be to fix this? I was able to get an overlapping column added to my table to identify this issue more easily for a script or whatever. I was thinking use a script to say where Overlap == Yes hide one of the series labels or move one up a few pixels, but not sure how to do that. Have you tried setting the top inset on either series from Format Chart > Series > Value (Y) Series > Labels? You could give either series a default inset to keep them from overlapping.

It works if I inset one left and the other right, but it really looks poor. Ideally the standard inset needs to be in place and then if they overlap, inset left and right, only for the overlapping. I started jumping into the chart scripting yesterday, but still do not know how to do this yet. It seems like it would be pretty easy once I am familiar with the chart scripting model, but not there yet.

Still seems like a bug to me. I can't imagine that anyone would want the labels to overlap and be unreadable

Yeah, I can file a bug. I have a global variable that has the X axis key with "yes" or "no" as value for overlap. From here would it be easy to make a chart script that does for example: for one Y series label, if X axis == global varable key and value for key == "Yes" inset left 20, and then other y series same thing but inset right?

I am back working on this. It's the last item I need to resolve to finish up a project. What I need help with, which I am still trying to figure out myself, is to be able to do the following. A generic code example would be great, and then additionally, if someone can point me to a resource that I can use to craft these on my own. As seen in the screenshot above I have one category x-axis and two y-axis. I need to know how to script the following. for a y-axis label, if it's on the x-axis category "2 - Stronger..." (for example) then do something to the y-axis label. If I can see some generic code for this, I can resolve this. I will keep trying to figure this out in the meantime.
