Error while importing files to Teamsite server

Hi
i get this error while importing the file.
what could be the possible causes for this and moreover is the number being mentioned at the end of the message an error refrence number or something else.
urgent reply needed...
i have attached the screen dump with the message

We'll see this problem when the user doesn't have rights to write into the directory. So check the permissions on the folder and make sure it's writable.

I have seen this exact bug myself and submitted a case ticket on it. After some back and forth, the support team was, in fact, able to reproduce the error and filed bug 42512 on it. Not sure when it will be fixed.
The problem occurs when you try to upload more than one file at a time and any successive file is in a DIFFERENT Workarea than the first file in the upload list... in other words, say you have these files selected, in this order, when you click upload: (destinations listed after the >>)
\local\iw\...\WORKAREA\test\file1.php >> /default/.../WORKAREA/test/file1.php
\local\iw\...\WORKAREA\live\file2.php >> /default/.../WORKAREA/live/file2.php
When this is the scenario, you will get the error you described, and there will be a random tmp file in the first Workarea (test, in this case). The first file will be uploaded, but the second file will not be.
I've had to adjust my work habits a little bit, as have my developers, and pay a bit more attention to the files I have open and their location within TeamSite.
Anyway, support says that the bug should be fixed eventually, who knows... This is the second bug they have filed from my support requests... so far neither have been fixed. At least this one has an easy workaround.
