<p>Hi ,</p><p> </p><p>Would like to design a report based on the following attached image, could any one of you please shed some light whether I need to go with cross tab or by creatign a table. Thanks.</p>

<div>Hi</div><div>you can do both depending on your data.</div><div> </div><div>A crosstab will have all the possible intersection between rows and columns. That means that you must have in your dataset all the different values for row and at least one intersection for each column (not necessary for all row). If not, some columns will missing.</div><div>If the layout should evolve dynamically, a crosstab can be a good choice.</div><div> </div><div>With a table, you specify the layout, so the column are always there.Only the rows are/can be dynamic.</div><div>It's more static but also much easier to control.</div><div>If the layout shouldn't evolve, a table will be probably easier to build.</div>

Could you please let me know the term dynamic, does that mean row group which we add for example Group A for Row has 10 values, in future it might increase to 12 values which would be reflected in the report with out hard coding. Please let me know if I have put it in the right way.</p><p> </p><p> Could you please suggest if there is a way to make sure Cross tab values are not being cut off, adjusted Master page.</p>

Yes, that's how crosstab works.
If it's only the number of rows which will increase, table is also available.
Table is dynamic in vertical side (row only), crosstab is dynamic in both sides : vertically and horizontally

<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>two ways :</p><p>* add a text field in your report above the crosstab with your title</p><p>or</p><p>* create a computed filed in your dataset and inside the cube with your title (the value will be the same for each row).</p><p>Use it directly in your crosstab like a measure. The column will be automaticaly merged</p><p> </p><p><a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='
