<p>Hi,</p><p> </p><p>It is not too clear what type of chart your are attempting to build (line or bar), so I cannot give you an exact solution. Instead, I am sending you 2 examples that show some chart scripting. One shows where to interact in the script to change the color of a category (bar) in a bar chart, the other shows how to change the color of a series in a line chart based on a parameter. Using this, you should get a better understanding of where to put the code in chart scripting.</p><p> </p><p>Hope this helps,</p><p> </p><p>P.</p>

<div>Hello there, </div><div> </div><div>Thank you for your response, it responds in part my request. </div><div>Let me explain: </div><div> </div><div>In your example BarChartColor.rptdesign report </div><div> I would like to create a report parameter (Param_1). </div><div>If Param_1 equals for example 'aaaa' then color the Series A, B in green. </div><div> </div><div>If Param_1 equals for example 'bbbb' then color the Series A, B black. </div><div> </div><div>(The type of chart is bar)</div><div> </div><div>I hope you understand me. My English is not the best
</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>thank you</div>

<p>Here's another example that shows how to change a bar color based on:</p><p>- the value of a parameter. If Parameter value is "aaaa", the bar is green;</p><p>- the value shown on the bar (from the Y-axis). If value is "1.5", the bar is red;</p><p>- the value of the categroy (from the X-Axis). If value is "A", the bar is blue</p><p> </p><p>Comment out the different lines of code in the script to see the impact.</p><p> </p><p>Hope this helps better,</p><p> </p><p>P.</p>
