Get last month's data in maximo QBR

Maybe this is not the right place to ask, thanks in advance!
Wondering how to get data from last month in maximo where clause? for example, today is 7/16, but we need the data from 6/1/-6/30. Also, we like to run it as parameter, not hard code, so it can be scheduled to run without updating.
Tried with the help of this but no luck yet.

I don't have maximo to test this on, but I came across a similar <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21295192'>article here</a> that pretty much describes the same process as what you link to. Maybe one of the maximo experts on here will no a little more that I do

Try this is the advanced search menu, Where Clause
reportdate between add_months(trunc(sysdate,'mm'),-1) and last_day(add_months(trunc(sysdate,'mm'),-1))
