Hi,
 
 I'm using birt 3.7.0.1 to design reports. i'm using exporting to excel feature. but in excel output cells getting merged. so, i tried to replace existing emitter with spudsoft emitters. but it didnt work for me. can anyone give me step by step solution to make it work.

If you can upgrade to 4.3+, the spudsoft emitters are included. What is the issue you're having? Trying to place the plug-in to show the option in the designer? Also, just to let you know, pairing BIRT Designer Professional with BIRT iHub F-Type (Free BIRT Server) will give you the best combination for the greatest Excel output you can get with BIRT.
