Can we do page break on columns in Cross tab
ravi11

Hi,

I am trying to generate a report using crosstab which has normal columns and summary columns.

All I need is to have a column break if the data exceeds the report width. Is there a option to do that in cross tab similar to the column level page break in tables?

Because in my report the cross tab is fitting the columns to one page and the page break or arrange of data to next page is not done by birt tool. Please help me on this.

Thanks,

Ravi

If you select the crosstab, go to the property editor, then go to the column area tab, you'll see an option for page breaks. If you add a new page break rule, you can choose a dimension and give an interval at which to break. Hope this helps.

Not in the outline, in the property editor. After you select the crosstab in the layout, go down to the property editor and you'll see a section in the property editor for the column area. Here you will find the page break setting.

In neither of my posts did I say to select column area from the outline. I want you to select column area from the property editor after selecting the crosstab in the layout. See the attached image.
