BIRT Report Engine integrate with EJBs

ahmedmdm

Hi,
I have usecase for sending out report in html format as an email. We currently use a Stateless bean for sending out mails to users. I hav a use case where a nightly job needs to generate a report in HTML format designed in BIRT and email it to users. We are using an mail util class written in EJB & our nightly job implementation will be using EJBTimer.

Is it possible to integrate BIRT report engine with EJB? We use Jboss 5.x as application server.

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ahmed Mohammed
