Build array using datasets

<p>Is there a way to Dynamically build an array using rows from a dataset?  For example, I have a dataset with ID numbers and names.  I need to put these into 2 seperate arrays in order to run comparisons on a third column.  Is there a way to do what I need?</p>

<p>What version are you using? In any case you have 2 choices.</p>
<ol><li>Instantiate an array in beforeFactory (as long as you do not put var before the variable name it will be global), then in the fetch event populate the array.</li>
<li>Same as above but use a report variable instead of a global variable (if your version supports this).</li>
