Pie chart with summarized data from 3 different columns

<p>Hello, </p>
<p> This i kind of basic question but i'm new to BIRT (coming from Business objects back groud). so please bare with my simple questions. I do have below scenario.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>ZipCode Total Population Male Population Female Popuation</p>
<p> </p>
<p>49006 525000 324000 201000</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I was able to add zipcode as parameter selection but want pie chart with male and female population displayed only in one pie chart.</p>

You could transform your data to be in the form of:<br><br>Gender Population<br>Male 324000<br>Female 201000<br><br>That would obviously make it easier. Or you could create the pie chart for one of the values and then just add the other through script with something like in this old devShare post:<br><br><a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='

<p>you are concatenating but what i'm look with pie chart with % male and female population out off total population. what is the easiest approach to convert columns in rows in BIRT?</p>

The point of the devshare link was to show how to add a slice. I created a pie chart with one column of your data as the slice size field. Then, I took the value from the other column and added it to the pie chart. This was done without doing any modifications to the data. If you're satisfied with what you have, that's good enough for me. If you'd like to see an example of adding the slice in your exact situation, let me know your BIRT version.
