adding replicant/list box item into existing DCRs
jcopple
I've modified my DCT to include a replicant item, with a default=1.
It works fine when I create a new DCR but I'm having problems when I edit existing DCRs.
When I open the existing DCR, the replicant item is collapsed, with the plus sign next to it.
How do I get the replicant item to be expanded when I enter an existing DCR?
Similarly, I've also added a drop down list to my existing DCR, with a value set as the selected value.
When I enter the DCR, the list has an extra blank line added at the top. Is there anyway to prevent this or to strip it out?
Thanks.

I'm playing catch-up on 30-days worth of posts ... as this didn't seem to be resolved yet (was it?)
Re: collapsed replication - have you tried setting a 'min' value for the replicant in addition to the 'default' value?
Re: blank in drop-down menu - are you sure you didn't put the blank entry there?
If you're still having problems - please remember to include information like: what version of TeamSite / TeamSite Templating on what platform you are using.

I set the Min and Default to '1' but it didn't make any difference.
I spoke to an Interwoven consultant and he gave me a script I could run against all of my existing dcrs, which would solve my problem of collapsed replicants by updating every dcr to recognise the new replicating drop down lists.
Apparently the problem was cuased by the fact that I'd modified the DCT to include the new list boxes, which were populated by an inline callout. The existing dcr's recognised that extra items had been added but not what the values should be.
(Saving & Closing every existing dcr would have had the same affect but would have been much more time consuming!).

could you share the script?
