400 Bad request While adding new iServer Profile.

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am trying to add a new iserver profile and i am putting exact iServer ip , port ,username and password but volume name is not populating to Volume dropdown of iServer Profile also showing connection error.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I am able to login to iportal,acadmin and acadmin config window. Also able to run the report on my designer.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Please suggest on this case.</p>

<p>You can try going to Windows --> Preferences --> General --> Network Connections and change the provider from Native to Direct. If that doesn't work, please send us a screen shot of the iServer profile you are attempting to create.</p>

<p>Verify that port 8000 is listening on the iServer machine. Easiest way is</p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-family:'courier new', courier, monospace;">telnet <server address> 8000</span></p>
<p> </p>
<p>The port needs to be opened for BIRT Designer to communicate with the iServer or iHub.</p>
