TeamPortal 1.1 for Plumtree
sunil_j
Hi,
I wish to know whether TeamPortal 1.1 for Plumtree works with the latest release of Plumtree Portal Server 5.0 or not?
Can someone confirm this?

The 1.1 admin guide does not make any references to 5.0. It only mentions 4.0 and 4.5.

I know that the guide do not make any reference to Plumtree 5.0, but I wish to confirm whether the same TeamPortal 1.1 can talk to Plumtree 5.0 or whether a new installation package is soon to be release TeamPortal 1.2 for Plumtree ?
Can someone from Interwoven comment on this?

No, the current TeamPortal 1.1 does not support the latest version of Plumtree. There are no plans to support new versions of the Plumtree Portal server for future releases of TeamPortal.

There are currently no plans to certify and productize TeamPortal for Plumtree with Plumtree portal 5.
That said, however, the myTeamSite portlet does work with Plumtree 5 portal. I have tested and documented this.

Hi Paul,
Yes it works with Plumtree 5.0, I have also documented the same and the integration works fine.
In addition to this, please do confirm, if I am correct: I think there is no Content Broswer portlet for Plumtree ?

who is the customer here?
content browser for 1.1 is available but I have not tested on Plumtree 5. Have you tried it?
what kind of results did you get?

Hi Paul,
I do not think that TeamPortal 1.1 works fine with Plumtree Portal 5.0. Did you tried importing a new file through the Add new content link on the Porlet interface?
The Add new content wizard works fine when you use a Templatng Feature. But The 2nd Filed upload to Server doesn't work from the MyTeamSite Portlet interface/wizard?
Moreover, Plumtree 4.5 uses a displaypage option when we create a Data Source Crawler in Plumtree whereas the same options are not available in Plumtree 5.0?

That is correct - there is no ContentBrowser portlet for Plumtree per se - the files are supposed to be crawled into the directory.
However, it shouldn't be hard to write one using CSSDK1.1 and adapting the Jetspeed Reference Implementation sources.
