Hi All,

Let me put in the scenario first and post the question after. I have this one main report which contains hyperlinks to other sub-reports. When clicked on the hyperlink, the sub-report is made to open up in excel format (using drill-through option).

The sub-report contains 46 columns. Now my question. Is there any way the user can first select the columns to be loaded? Suppose out of the 46 columns, the user wants only 12 columns. So when he clicks on the hyperlink, the user should be prompted to choose from the 46 fields.

The way I could think of is to open up the sub-report as a separate report and using the "Export data" option to select the fields. Is there any other way to implement this?

Thanks in advance
