Webservice data source on iHub (iserver 11 SP3)

Hi All,
 
I've created a report using RDPro v4.2.3 that uses 3 data sources (IBM DB2, SQL Server 2008, and an internal webservice) all of which are defined in the report design (no data or information objects being used). All aspects of the report works within BDPro (and open source BIRT). I'm pretty satisfied with the results

I've published to my iHub server and granted access permissions. Upon running the report from iportal, I get the following error:

3301: Cannot get report parameters for the specified file.
</pre>
A search on this error indicates that I do not have the drivers installed in the correct iserver path, but that is not the case as best as I can verify it.
 
This is the first time I'm using a webservice data source and was curious if that might be the cause of the error since there is no data source driver to install, but rather an internal (server-side) wsdl is being used.

In the title of your post you indicated iServer 11 SP3 after iHub.
 
Could you please confirm the version of iServer or iHub to which you are deploying the report?
 
If it is an 11 SP3 iServer, the issue is most likely related to using v4.2.3 designer to create the reports as the 4.2.3 designer is a newer release than the engine utilized in the 11SP3 iServer. The 4.2.3 designer corresponds to the current iHub 3 and iHub F-Type releases. iServer 11 SP3 corresponds to the 2.6.3 release of the designer.

Ah, yes I see the confusion I created. I have 11 SP3 iServer.
 
So it appears I'm using the wrong Desinger. Or, should I upgrade iServer to iHub?

At this time, there is not an direct upgrade path available from iServer to the current release of iHub3, although this should be available soon in an upcoming release. An upgrade is also typically a somewhat longer process that involves upgrading through QA for full testing before the upgrade is completely rolled out.
 
As such, I would recommend you move to using the corresponding designer for your 11SP3 environment and in parallel begin discussions of an upgrade plan to the newest release of the iServer or a future release of iHub.

In order to obtain the 11 SP3 release of BD Pro you will need to contact Actuate Licensing as this older version is no longer available for a trial download.
