BIRT 2.5.1
bsteinberg

Hi all,

Very new to the BIRT designer version 2.5.1 (ok, no laughing...its embedded in the BMC ITSM software) and some of the reporting "tips and tricks" I know don't work the same here.

I am trying to create a field that holds values separated by a carriage return:

Department

Location

Address

Attn: Username

Phone number

I have tried to use the char(13) and the "\n" and no luck.

What is the best way to create field that uses multiple variables on different lines of a single text field?

Thanks for any help. I'll continue to look through the site and web for answers, but oddly its not easy to find. I do have the BIRT 2.6 Data Analysis and Reporting book by John Ward, but it does not include this tidbit.

Thanks in Advance!
