Nesting table inside CrossTab detail cell

Hi,
 
I'm trying to create a nested table inside CrossTab detail cell which parameters will be crosstab column and row dimension like this
 
ItemID--TagId = 1

TagId = 2

TagId = 3

1 -- table Tag --table Tag --table Tag
 -- values of --values of --values of
 -- itemId 1 --itemId 1 --itemId 1
 --and tagId 1 --and tagId 2 --and tagId 2

2 -- table Tag --table Tag --table Tag
 -- values of --values of --values of
 -- itemId 3 --itemId 3 --itemId 3
 --and tagId 1 --and tagId 2 --and tagId 2
 
Original table from database query looks like this:
Id -- TagId -- TagValue -- ItemID
1 -- 1 -- value1 -- 1
2 -- 1 -- value2 -- 1
3 -- 2 -- **** -- 2
4 -- 2 -- yyy -- 2
5 -- 3 -- 1234 -- 2
6 -- 3 -- 225 -- 1
 
I have tried with the instructions at here:

but no success.
Please help me or guide me to the right thread.

Are you able to get the example from the blog you posted working? I was able to get it in 4.4.0.
 
What is your BIRT version? I could provide a working example of using a table in a crosstab, if needed.
