workflow for deploying to staging or production

hi,
when i'm making changes to a file and running new job on it which is supposed to deploy it to either a staging server or production server , based on the selection made, it is initiating the workflow and ends without giving any errors.but when i check the file in the staging area the change is not updated. can u give me some ideas as to why that's not getting updated?

Was this ever resolved? If so - what turned out to be the source of the problem / resolution?
If not - can you provide more information about the environment (platform, OS, versions of TeamSite, OpenDeploy, etc.)?
