<p>I am newbie to BIRT. I wonder if i can generate text file output from my java application which is integrated with birt.</p>

<p>I have created report design using birt and can generate pdf file output from java application. But i dunno how to generate text file '.txt' output file using java application.</p>

<p>Plz help me providing some link where I can refer to generate text file from my java applicatoin for birt report design.</p>
